I would like to improve the content and presentation of my class for my "general" level students to help them learn more effectively. DM

I am taking this class because it interests me and it is convenient and free. I hope it will help me help advanced learners as well as struggling ones. I love to use music and interactive sites now and love having the opportunity to research more things I can use. I have enjoyed social media personally and like keeping up to date with people I don't see much. I also like it is multigenerational.

I am taking this for the 3 hours even though I do not need them.
Hopefully I will learn something I can use in my classroom.

I need to fullfill a 3 credit hour course for professional development.

This course will bring me up to speed with using the internet and learning new ideas and staying connected with other proessionals in my field.

I have actually got enough hours, so I'm here to learn!

I know I'm often reluctant to try new things on the web, so this seemed like a safe way to learn. I'm still enough years away from retirement that I feel I need to learn for my job, and personally, I need to be able to keep up with my kids.

I saw some awesome projects by fellow teachers and I wanted to do that. I also want to explore areas in technology that I don't know about.

Learning Web 2.0 will help me continue to strengthen my technology confidence. Professionally, I want to learn Web 2.0 for my students and for myself, as well. As a teacher, if I am doing my job the way I should be doing it, I need to explore all areas that help me be a better teacher. Besides, I love this stuff! LS

I am here so I may hold my own with those Digital Natives.

I want to be able to learn new ways of making Science real. I look forward to learning new content and new approachs for technological, social, and online learning. Collaboration with the Digital Natives will be so amazing - looking forward to bridging the gap.

I am here because I LOVE technology in and out of the classroom. It is hard to find personal time to explore new things so joining this class will force me to take time to learn something new. Also this is a good chance for me to keep up with my kiddos and have something to work with them on as well. I'm hoping to learn new ways to present material to my class. Even Pre-K students are using technology and love learning using computers, iPads, etc. Looking forward to the weeks ahead. Thanks Dianne! L.A.

I am here because I have heard such great things about this class! I know we need to learn all we can to make the delivery of instruction more appropriate for today's learners. I'm excited to learn as much as I can.

Learning as much as I can about Web 2.0 will help me help other teachers be more effective. I think it is very important for me to be able to do what I ask others to do. Personally, I know this will expand my knowledge base. I'm really looking forward to it all. MK

I want to be as up-to-date as possible with this stuff and be able to know what some of the kids, and younger teachers, are talking about....plus the 3 hours won't hurt.

Since turning a certain age (starts with a six), I vowed to get myself as current as I can and make myself more valuable professionally. I'll never be 120 pounds again, but I can still think! KE

I do need the credit hours but im also always interested in staying in touch with what's out there.

I am looking forward to learning about new tools - there are so many available that it can be overwhelming...this will be a nice guided approach.

I want to stay as up to date as possible in the digital age. The convenience of this course being offered at school is incredible. If I come away with a tool or skill tha I can use directly with my classes, that will be great, but the main thing for me is to personally staying in touch with what our world has to offer.
