I am here because I discovered "The 23 Things" and was hooked! Personally I can connect with topics of interest and professionally I can create new, innovative library services and communicate these services via Web 2.0 tools to my patrons. DEJ

My first reason, of course, is for continuing education. Having said that, I love all things computer/internet/technology. I love learning new things and it's always nice to spend time with my co-workers that I only see at our 9:00 a.m. faculty meetings with Bill!

I am here because, not only do I need the credit hours, but I also want to learn more about ways to use the web. SMB

I am excited to be taking this class because I consider myself to be computer illiterate and I need to educate myself on all of the technology that my colleagues, but especially my students, are currently using. I enjoy learning how to use new technology and feel that, as a middle school teacher, it would add a great deal to my class. I don't want to have to learn about all of this stuff from my students. I really only signed up for this class to get hours for my teaching certificate. After the first day, I realize I am really going to learn a lot about "all things digital"! I hope my "virgin" blog will lead to bigger and better blogs.

I am here to learn as much as possible about how to use technology in my classes. I feel the students have a very different way of learning and I want to make certain that they are engaged in my class. KM

I am taking this class to ease my fear of some of the technology which we are expected to use in the classroom.
I need to become a part of these exciting changes. nw

I am here because I don't really know anything about Web 2.0. I really would like to gain some information and would like to learn how to connect with others on a variety of topics. JC

I am here because I want to discover new things that later I can share.
Learning Web 2.0 is a great way to connect with colleagues who will focus in a particular interest.

I have a two part reason for taking this class. First of all, I need points for professional development. Secondly, I need all the help I can get with technology!DRW
