I'm always gathering data and resources, making lists, and filing them for when I have to go back and use them. You can guess how often I get back to them, that is if I can find these lists. I think one of the best uses of the the bookmarking tools is that I can keep all of these in one place where I can quickly and easily access them -- seriously increasing the liklihood that I use them, capitalizing on the time I spent reseraching. - LMD

All of the social bookmarking tools are great tools of engagement for students. Capturing those students who are difficult to engage or have difficulty staying on task unless actively involved is a challenging task. All of these tools provide great resources for teachers to use. MK

There are many exciting ways to use the social bookmarking tools that we viewed today. I was only familiar with Pinterest, so I am intrigued by sites that I can use solely for education (to share with my students and parents). For example, I can see using symbaloo to give parents a list of helpful tools for curriculum & parenting resources. BH

I am constantly looking for ideas, interactive websites, apps, smartboard lessons, etc for my classroom. It can be difficult to keep up with all of these fantastic ideas and be able to easily access these places on the web. Diigo and Symbaloo are excellent tools to sort professional resources.

I am very excited to learn all of these tools to help me organize the websites I find. I have already used Symbloo and it is a great tool for quick access to all my favorite sites.LC

Social Bookmarking tools can be a great organizational tool. Also,Symbaloo can be utilized to showcase curricula. bb

Symbaloo seems like a great organizational tool -- an easy place to "store" lots of valuable links. Also, it seems like joining groups in Diigo would be a terrific way to collaborate with other teachers who have already come up with cool ideas and projects and such. I am notorious for "re-creating the wheel," and I would like to break that very unproductive habit. PCD

By joining Groups like "Directing" within my Diigo account I can quickly refer to a host of professionals in my field for answers to questions or fresh approaches. I like the mixed media format of the links as well. SP

These are great ways to get students involved that would otherwise slip away in your class. It is nice to be able to connect with the students and use these in the classroom and not only for personal use. CH
